Very buggy but it works
I started using this app in mid April on a cruise vacation where internet would only be available while in port. I was able to download some movies to watch while at sea and for the plane trip home as Id already burned through the movies i brought with me.
The app is overdue for a bug fixing update but when you get it to work, it does ok especially if youre not jailbroken. Im not able to login with Dropbox, the player could be designed better (time indicator is at the edge of the screen and video or download status appears on lock screen even if its not playing anything), and the Wi-Fi sync is unusable. I tried to move my downloaded files to my jailbroken iPad and somehow deleted all my downloads. The browser doesnt handle redirects or embedded video very well and can get stuck in a loop when trying to serve ads and trying to switch to the app store to present a sponsored app.
Tapping on a download in progress causes it to be "completed" and cannot be restarted (so you have to hope you still have the tab open in the browser to retry the download or youre gonna have to dig it back up).
Even considering the internet use over cellular networks, the app is very draining on the battery and my iPhone SE can barely maintain the charge level, let alone charge up the battery while its plugged in and downloading.
I would gladly pay a dollar, maybe even two, for an ad free version and a better video player since youre forced to use it (unless maybe youre jailbroken).
